Our Service

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with the service, please let us know. We will always endeavour to correct the problem as best we can to ensure that your shopping experience with Oberon Art is enjoyable.

Please note that many items are unique or limited in number and therefore we must always check availability when we receive your wishlist. As many items are handmade, there may be natural blemishes or uneven finishes; this is part of the nature of a hand-made product.

In the following, the terms 'we' and 'us' refer to Oberon Art Limited, and the terms 'you' and your' refer to The Customer. Business is done under these Terms and Conditions, and the placing of an order constitutes a User Agreement.


Your order will be packed and weighed before the postage & packing charge is applied. The delivery method and charge will depend on the size, weight and value of your order, usually using a signed-for service, usually between £5 to £20 per order. Please note, however, that some items are very delicate and we reserve the right to request customers to collect such items from us, or we will provide a quote for a specialist courier service and insurance.

Credit & debit card payments must be processed and cheques must be cleared before despatch.

Every attempt will be made to ensure despatch within 2 to 3 working days after the order is complete except for items which are made-to-order and can take up to 3-6 weeks. However on occasions when it is beyond our control longer delays may occur. You will be advised of the expected delivery time when you send your wishlist.

Overseas shipments must be delivered to the destination matching the cardholder's registered address.


If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item you have ordered is faulty, defective or even if you have had a change of heart, you may return it to us. It must be returned unused and in its original condition and packaging within 15 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or credit.

You must contact us before sending anything back to us or we will not be able to process your return. We will check all products returned to us and only then will a credit, replacement or exchange be authorised and processed. Return shipping costs will not be refunded unless the items are faulty.

We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit as you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us. We strongly recommend that you are adequately insured and that you send the package by either Recorded/Special Delivery, depending on the value of the product/s you are returning (check with the Post Office). Please keep your proof of postage until you have received your replacement or credit.

Returning a gift
We are happy to exchange unwanted, faulty or defective products that have been sent as a gift and offer gift vouchers for the value of the item you are returning. If a refund is required, please note that refunds of the purchase price for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original purchaser. This service is only available for one month from date of purchase.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Legal. Oberon operates under English law to uphold and protect its good name and property at all times. Each sale shall be deemed to be performed in England and you are bound by our terms and conditions every time you re-visit the site.
  2. Contract. When you register to buy online your details must be true and any credit card must be yours to use by right and registered to you. Any changes of card and/or address should be notified to us immediately. Oberon Art reserves the right to cancel an account at its own discretion if it is deemed to be in breach of its terms.
  3. Payment. Payment will be taken prior to despatch. Any delays will be brought to your attention as soon as we are aware of them. Goods remain the property of Oberon Art until paid for in full.
  4. Tax. VAT is charged at the prevailing rate for Value Added Tax, which is 15% from 1st December 2008 until 31st December 2009. VAT is charged on all Oberon Art products where applicable and is included in all quoted 'retail' prices. The customer will be responsible for all other applicable duties. VAT reg 790 0317 46.
  5. Corrections. All descriptions of goods and services are true to the best of our knowledge. Any omissions will be corrected as soon as we become aware of them. Colours and appearances may vary slightly from what you view on screen. No attempt to deceive is made and all our products are of the highest quality.
  6. Copyright. Please do not infringe our copyright. No image may be reproduced whatsoever. We will prosecute any breach of copyright. © Copyrights reserved.
  7. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold us and (as applicable) our officers, directors, agents, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this User Agreement (including the documents incorporated by reference), or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
  8. Consequential Loss. Oberon Art accepts no responsibility for consequential loss but in any event, its liability is limited to the cost of your order.
  9. Reasonable Control. Oberon Art will not be liable for failure to perform its obligations within this agreement due to circumstances beyond its control.
  10. Changes to this agreement. Oberon Art reserves the right to review its terms and conditions regularly and make changes as are deemed necessary. In the event of any term of this agreement being held to be unenforceable or invalid by judicial process the other terms will remain valid and enforceable.

Security and Privacy

Oberon Art wishes to assure you that any information you give us is deemed confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless you have given your express permission. We may contact you from time to time with news of special offers or discounts, new products or general information about ourselves. Information is collected lawfully in accordance with the data protection act.
