Large Format Printing

Giclée, pronounced jee-clay, is French for "little squirt", and describes the latest development in inkjet technology that produces utterly superb quality prints on a variety of media including canvas and watercolour art papers, directly from a digital file, using lightfast inks, for the ultimate solution to creating small quantities of fine art prints.

Why use Giclée?

  • Low initial costs compared to lithographic printing.
  • Print on demand technology, ie. Print only what you need, thereby eliminating storage problems, reducing stock build-up, minimizing cash-flow problems.
  • Superb range of media including cotton canvas and 100% cotton archival watercolour paper.
  • Far more control over proofing, colour-matching and texture reproduction than any other reproduction print method.

Why use Oberon Art?

As an artist run business, specializing in giclée printing, we understand the importance of your original artwork to you. Using a fussy, artist's eye, we will take great care to work with you to produce not just a print, but an accurate mimic of your original. Printed colours and textures will be tweaked and fine-tuned until the optimum results have been achieved for your perfect reproduction.
